Every possible precaution is taken for the health and safety of each participant. Participants will be supervised at all times. Bed rails are required on the beds of all participants sleeping on the top bunks and are available for those who need them on the lower bunk. All staff and participants will wear life preservers when involved in any boating activities. There will be a registered nurse on call throughout the week. In addition, the camp is located a few miles from the Cascade Medical Center. Staff receive training in first aid, medical concerns, and health/safety needs of participants.
