We help children and teens with disabilities discover new skills, become creative and resilient, and develop internal strengths that foster a life of well-being and independence.
We help solve issues that emerge in a child’s life and encourage the child to build relationships, make friends and become involved in their community.
We respect the value of inclusiveness in a community and we assist adults with disabilities and their families to maximize self-sufficiency, safety, health and independence so that they can live and participate in their communities and maintain the highest quality of life.
We understand the life-long challenges and concerns of parents and families of children and adults with disabilities. We work alongside the family to form a circle of strength and support through an individual’s life of learning and achievement.
We build strong, lasting relationships with our participants and the communities we work in by:
- Partnering with employers to find people jobs
- Collaborating with schools
- Educating business and civic organizations
- Sponsoring community events
Community Partnerships of Idaho began in 1995 as a dream of a few friends who wanted to make a difference in the lives of children, teens and adults with disabilities. They were committed to “creating opportunities for people to learn and achieve their goals.” This vision for services has guided the company to where it is today.
At Community Partnerships of Idaho, our values of Personal Dignity, Integrity, Innovation and Relationships act as the guide to how we treat all individuals. It’s important to us that:
- Individuals determine their own goals and services
- Our staff is open and honest with the individuals we serve
- We give individuals the tools they need to be successful
- We develop supportive relationships with families
“Creating opportunities for people to learn and achieve their goals”
Whether finding a job, building relationships, accessing the community, or learning to become more independent, we are dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities be successful and achieve their goals.
